Roll Call, Ayes: P. <br />Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and V. Johnson. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that Jade, Inc. <br />request for a Special Use Permit for outside storage <br />and merchandising at 2441 North Fairview Avenue be <br />approved in accordance with the plans presented. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and <br />V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Michael Platt/ <br />Fuddruckers request for sign height variance at 2740 <br />Snelling Avenue North be continued to the regular City <br />Council meeting of February 24, 1992. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />P. Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and V. Johnson. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Resolution 8743, <br />requesting permission to erect a directional/restau- <br />rant sign on MnOOT property, be adopted. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and V. Johnson. Nays: <br />P. Johnson. <br /> <br />ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS <br />Cushman moved, Thomas seconded, that the 1992 Standing <br />Rules of Procedure for the Council be approved with <br />the following changes: <br /> <br />RULE 1. Reqular Meetinqs. <br />After the last sentence in Rule 1 add: Such meetings <br />may be rescheduled, from time to time, when scheduling <br />conflicts occur. <br /> <br />RULE 2. Special Meetinqs and Work Sessions. <br />First sentence to read: Special Meetings and Work <br />Sessions, including Executive Sessions with legal <br />counsel to discuss pending litigation, must be called <br />at the request of at least three (3) members of the <br />Councilor the Mayor, or the City Manager. <br /> <br />Rule 9. Vote. <br />Add the following: <br />2. Voice vote may be taken for: <br />A. Approval of Minutes, <br />B. withdrawal of items from the Agenda, <br />C. Continuation of items on the Agenda, <br />O.
