<br />Roseville City Council Minutes <br />May 26, 1992 <br /> <br />F-11 <br /> <br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the purchase <br />of fifteen Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs), in the amount <br />of $52,065 to be funded from the contingency Fund, be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Thomas, <br />Maschka, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />MOBILE DATA <br />TERMINALS <br />(MDTS) <br /> <br />F-12 P. Johnson moved that the City Attorney be directed to GAMBLING <br />prepare a gambling ordinance change which grants up to ORDINANCE <br />two premises permits per organization. Those permits CHANGES <br />are limited to one Class A and one Class B or two <br />Class B's. Total premises permits would be limited to <br />eight Class B's and five Class A's. Motion died for <br />lack of a second. <br /> <br />Thomas moved that the City Attorney be directed to <br />prepare a gambling ordinance change which grants two <br />Class B premises permits per organization, sunsetting <br />all Bingo Hall licenses and Class A premises permits <br />as of December 31, 1994, and issuing no further Class <br />A premises permits. Total premises permits would be <br />limited to eight Class B's. Motion died for lack of a <br />second. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that a friendly <br />amendment, directing the city Attorney to prepare a <br />gambling ordinance change which grants one premises <br />permit per organization be approved. That permit may <br />be either a Class A or a Class B. Total premises <br />permits would be limited to eight Class B's and five <br />Class A's. <br /> <br />V. Johnson moved, P. Johnson seconded, that the City <br />Attorney be directed to prepare a gambling ordinance <br />change which grants one premises permit per organiza- <br />tion. That permit may be either a Class A or a Class <br />B. Total premises permits would be limited to eight <br />Class B's and five Class A's with the exception that <br />the North Suburban Youth Association would be grand- <br />fathered in to have two Class B's. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />P. Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: <br />Thomas. <br /> <br />F-13 Maschka moved, Thomas seconded, that an amendment to <br />Public Works Operating Policy 20-016, for street <br />widths for roadway reconstruction projects, be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Thomas, <br />Maschka, Cushman, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />F-14 <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that the proposal <br />for an engineering services agreement between the City <br />of Roseville and Independent Consulting Engineers, <br />Inc. for preparation of a site analysis review for the <br />Roseville Speed Skating/Bandy facility be approved and <br />authorizing execution of said agreement. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: P. Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, and V. <br />Johnson.
