<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the City Council - January 11, 1993. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The Oath of Office was given by Mayor Vern Johnson to John OATH OF <br />Goedeke, newly appointed Council Member, to serve from OFFICE <br />January 11 through December 31, 1993, filling the unexpired <br />term of Brenda Thomas. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL <br />members present: Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Maschka, and <br />V. Johnson. Members absent: None. <br /> <br />A. <br />A-1 <br /> <br />A-2 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes <br />of the regular meeting of December 14, 1992 be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, P. Johnson, <br />Goedeke, Maschka, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes <br />of the special meeting of December 16, 1992 be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, P. Johnson, <br />Goedeke, Maschka, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Gretchen Blank, a representative of the Minnesota Recreation MAYNARD <br />and Park Association Awards Committee from the City of Rich- KELSEY <br />field, made an award presentation to Maynard Kelsey, who has <br />served on the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission for <br />over twelve years and was chosen as Commissioner of the Year <br />by the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association. <br /> <br />A certificate of Achievement was received by the City of CERTIFICATE OF <br />Roseville from the Secretary of State's Office recognizing ACHIEVEMENT <br />Roseville's voter turnout which exceeded 70 percent at the <br />state General Election held on November 3, 1992. <br /> <br />Mr. David Beahrs spoke to the Council about his concerns of DAVID BEAHRS <br />crime in Roseville. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />B-1 <br /> <br />B-2 <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Maschka moved, P. Johnson seconded, that the Consent <br />Agenda, Items B-1 through B-4, be approved. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Maschka, <br />and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, P. Johnson seconded, that Dorothy <br />Peterson's request for minor variance at 1455 W. Burke <br />Avenue, to construct a 15 x 16 foot family room addi- <br />tion onto the rear of the existing house, be approved. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, <br />Maschka, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, P. Johnson seconded, that the attached <br />list of 1993 Contractors' Licenses be approved.
