<br />The Oath of Office was given by Mayor Vern Johnson to John OATH OF
<br />Goedeke, newly appointed Council Member, to serve from OFFICE
<br />January 11 through December 31, 1993, filling the unexpired
<br />term of Brenda Thomas.
<br />
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL

<br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes
<br />of the regular meeting of December 14, 1992 be

<br />Gretchen Blank, a representative of the Minnesota Recreation MAYNARD
<br />and Park Association Awards Committee from the City of Rich- KELSEY
<br />field, made an award presentation to Maynard Kelsey, who has
<br />served on the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission for
<br />over twelve years and was chosen as Commissioner of the Year
<br />by the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association.
<br />
<br />A certificate of Achievement was received by the City of CERTIFICATE OF
<br />Roseville from the Secretary of State's Office recognizing ACHIEVEMENT
<br />Roseville's voter turnout which exceeded 70 percent at the
<br />state General Election held on November 3, 1992.
<br />
<br />Mr. David Beahrs spoke to the Council about his concerns of DAVID BEAHRS
<br />crime in Roseville.

<br />Agenda, Items B-1 through B-4, be approved. Roll

<br />Maschka moved, P. Johnson seconded, that Dorothy
<br />Peterson's request for minor variance at 1455 W. Burke
<br />Avenue, to construct a 15 x 16 foot family room addi-
<br />tion onto the rear of the existing house, be approved.
