<br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />A-I Goedeke moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes of MINUTES
<br />the regular meeting of July 12, 1993 be approved. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, and V.
<br />Johnson. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />A Distinguished Service Award, recognizing individuals who, by assisting
<br />with CPR, have become valuable links in the emergency medical system was
<br />presented to Bill Olein by the American Heart Association, in recognition
<br />of his efforts in saving the life of fellow employee Doug Strong.
<br />
<br />The City of Roseville was presented with the 1993 Minnesota Recreation and
<br />Park Association (MRPA) Award for Excellence for the facility and program
<br />at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center.

<br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the Consent
<br />Agenda, Items B-1 through B-10 be approved. Roll Call,

<br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that a proclama-
<br />tion, proclaiming August 3, 1993, as "National Night
<br />Out" in the city of Roseville, be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, and V. Johnson.

<br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that Steve
<br />Favilla's request for a 3 foot side yard setback
<br />variance to provide enough room to his existing drive-
<br />way to park two cars side by side as well as provide
<br />off street parking for a recreational camper trailer,
<br />at 2451 simpson street be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, and V. Johnson. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that Albert
<br />Schreiber's request for a 12 foot minor variance from
<br />setback requirements from street right-of-ways, to
<br />allow his driveway to remain in its current location
<br />at 1896 Fernwood Avenue, be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Cushman, P. Johnson, Goedeke, and V. Johnson.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that craig and
<br />Heide Sneltjes' request for a 3 foot minor variance to
<br />construct an asphalt slab to the west of the existing
<br />driveway, extending from the house to the road, at
<br />1800 N. Dunlap Street be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
