Johnson moved, Maschka seconded, that because there <br />is no further work for the Committee, the Residential <br />Waste Management Advisory Committee be disbanded. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, <br />and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, P. Johnson seconded, that because of an <br />error in a letter from Ramsey County regarding Joint <br />Metropolitan Districts meeting dates, the public <br />hearings on the proposed 1994 Tax Levy scheduled for <br />November 29 and December 13, 1993, be changed to <br />December 8 and December 16, 1993, beginning at 7:00 <br />p.m. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, <br />Goedeke, and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, P. Johnson seconded, that city staff be <br />authorized to advertise and seek representatives to <br />the Pipeline Safety Advisory Committee for future <br />Council consideration. Roll Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, <br />Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, and V. Johnson. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Maschka moved, P. Johnson seconded, that Resolution <br />8978, awarding the bid for City Projects 93-10, <br />Lincoln Drive construction, and 93-20, County Ditch 4 <br />improvements to Arnt Construction in the low base bid <br />amount of $652,377.19 and Alternate A for the orna- <br />mental style railing in the amount of $30,277.50, be <br />adopted, contingent on receipt of Municipal State Aid <br />approval of the project plans. Roll Call, Ayes: P. <br />Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, and V. Johnson. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />P. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the bid for <br />the John Rose Minnesota Oval padding system be awarded <br />to Kaiser Manufacturing Company of White Bear Lake, <br />Minnesota, in the low bid amount of $55,600. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: P. Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, <br />and V. Johnson. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Goedeke seconded, that the bid for the <br />John Rose Minnesota Oval Scoreboard System be awarded <br />to Daktronics, Inc. of Brookings, South Dakota, in the <br />low bid amount of $137,375, to be paid for over a five <br />year period with proceeds from the Oval, as a result <br />of a contract with Coca Cola USA. Roll Call, Ayes: P. <br />Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, and V.
