<br />the modifications to the Industrial Development District No. 1 <br />Plan (which area is herein called the "Enlarged Redevelopment <br />Area" or the "Project"); and <br /> <br />C. WHEREAS, it is desirable and in the public interest that <br />the City undertake and carry out the modifications to the <br />Development Program pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections <br />469.124 through 469.134, encompassing the area which is indicated <br />in the modifications to the Development Program (which area is <br />herein called the "Enlarged Development District"); and <br /> <br />D. WHEREAS, The City consulted with its Planning commission <br />and the City on the date hereof, after having published a notice <br />of public hearing in the official newspaper of the City, <br />conducted a public hearing on the modified Redevelopment Plan and <br />the modified Industrial Development District No. 1 Plan and the <br />modified Development Program and received public comments on the <br />same. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the area described as the Enlarged <br />Redevelopment Area is a redevelopment project within the meaning <br />of Minnesota statutes, Section 469.002, Subd. 14, and an <br />Industrial Development District within the meaning of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Section 469.058 for the purpose of redevelopment and <br />economic development as set forth in Minnesota Statutes, sections <br />469.058, 469.001 to 469.047. <br /> <br />section 2. That the area described in the Enlarged <br />Development District is a development district within the meaning <br />of Minnesota Statutes, section 469.125 for the purpose of <br />redevelopment and economic development as set forth in Minnesota <br />Statutes, Section 469.124 through 469.134. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the modifications to the Redevelopment Plan <br />and the Industrial Development District No. 1 Plan and the <br />modifications to the Development Program and Project will carry <br />out the purposes and policies of Minnesota statutes, Sections <br />469.001 through 469.047 and 469.048 through 469.068 and sections <br />469.124 through 469.134. <br /> <br />Section 4. That the land in the Enlarged Redevelopment Area <br />and ~he Enlarged Development District would not be made available <br />for redevelopment without the financial aid to be sought. <br /> <br />Section 5.
