<br />Roseville City Council Minutes <br />March 10, 1997 <br /> <br />G. <br />G-l <br /> <br />H. <br />H-l <br /> <br />K. <br /> <br />K-l <br /> <br />RECOGNITIONS <br />A Certificate of Achievement plaque for Excellence in Financial Reports from <br />the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada <br />was presented to the City of Roseville for the City's Comprehensive Annual <br />Financial Report for Fiscal Year ended December 31, 1995. This is the highest <br />form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and is <br />the 17th year in a row that Roseville has received this award. <br /> <br />An Award of Financial Reporting Achievement was presented to Finance <br />Department employee Kari Gruenwald, who also recently became a CPA. <br /> <br />HEARINGS <br />Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that staff be directed to prepare a resolution <br />for the regular City Council meeting of Monday, March 24, 1997, finding that <br />Tax Increment District 15 is necessary and is in compliance with State law and <br />City policy. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Wiski, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS (Continued, if necessary) <br />(Formerly F-2) <br />Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that on street parking on the south side of <br />South McCarrons Boulevard between Woodruff Avenue and Western Avenue <br />be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel and Wall. Nays: Wiski. <br /> <br />Wiski moved, Mastel seconded, that parking be constructed on the south side <br />of South McCarrons Boulevard between approximately 294 South McCarrons <br />Boulevard and 346 South McCarrons Boulevard, and to modify the parking in an <br />attempt to save the large oak tree at 322 South McCarrons Boulevard. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Mastel, Wiski, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that the intersection of Roselawn Avenue, North <br />McCarrons Boulevard, and South McCarrons Boulevard be constructed as a <br />three way stop. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Wiski, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />The meeting was recessed for a 10 minute break at 8:30 p.m. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Mastel moved, Wiski seconded, that no major modifications be made to the <br />municipal water system in the area of Hand Avenue and Auerbach Avenue as <br />part of the 1997 street reconstruction project. Roll Call, Ayes: Mastel, Wiski, <br />and Wall.
