Goedeke moved, Maschka seconded, that ACR Homes, Inc. request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the conversion of existing space for operation of a take-out/self-service restaurant (Blimpie's) in a portion of the building located at 2215 Snelling Avenue N. be denied based on findings outlined in Section 3.1 of the Request For Council Action dated September 22, 1997, the lack of an acceptable site plan, and lack of additional information requested by the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski, and Goedeke. Nays: None. Abstain: Wall because his office has performed services for ACR Homes, Inc. ACR HOMES, INC. Wiski moved, Mastel seconded, that Resolution 9474, denying US West (CB Commercial) request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the placement of a commercial communications tower on a non-City tower site at 2582 Long Lake Road N., be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None. RESOLUTION 9474 Wiski moved, Goedeke seconded, that staff be directed to amend a section of the ordinance to allow the location of new communication equipment on existing towers and structures in all zoning districts within the community as a permitted use. As a permitted use, such new communication equipment would only require administrative approval and a building permit. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Wiski, Goedeke, and Wall. Nays: None. OTHER BUSINESS Mayor Wall stated that Rick Jopke has accepted a position as Director of Community Development in Mounds View, Minnesota and September 26, 1997 will be his last day of employment with the City of Roseville.
