Johnson and Police DICK CASE <br />Chief Paul Wood. Follow-up reports will be given to the Council at their work <br />session in March, 1998. <br /> <br />The meeting was recessed for a 10 minute break at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was reconvened at 7:45 p.m. by Acting Mayor Mastel, <br />as Mayor Wall left to participate in a news conference regarding the <br />Dick case. <br /> <br />Council changed the order of the agenda as follows: Item G. RECOGNITIONS, AGENDA <br />ITEM H. HEARINGS, and moved Item F-1 under REPORTS AND RECOM- CHANGE <br />MENDATIONS to become K-1 under REPORTS AND RECOMMENDA- <br />TIONS (Continued, If Necessary). <br /> <br />G. <br />G-1 <br /> <br />RECOGNITIONS <br />Tom Alleva, Assistant Police Chief, presented a Police Department Apprecia- <br />tion Award to Thomas Gregory and Phillip Buchner in recognition of their <br />good citizenship. While walking home from school, the boys found an <br />envelope containing $210 in cash and turned the money in to the Roseville <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />THOMAS <br />GREGORY AND <br />PHILLIP <br />BUCHNER <br /> <br />G-2 Tom Alleva, Deputy Police Chief, presented an award the City received for NATIONAL <br />participating in National Night Out, 1997. This is the sixth year in a row the NIGHT OUT <br />City has received this award. He also gave a brief presentation applauding our AWARD <br />Neighborhood Watch groups and residents' involvement in this important event. <br /> <br />The City of Roseville received the Governor's Cooperative Public Service <br />A ward in recognition of partnership efforts with the Ramsey County Truancy <br />and Curfew Center. Roseville has been involved in the development of the <br />Center since early 1996. The Center is used as a drop off location for curfew <br />violators when the juvenile's parents are not readily available to pick up the <br />child or when a juvenile refuses to give proper identification. <br /> <br />H.
