<br />Wiski moved, Maschka seconded, that National Tire and Battery's request for
<br />a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 10,790 square foot auto accessory
<br />installation and service store at 2561 North Snelling Avenue be denied based
<br />on the inconsistency with the Comprehensive Plan, inconsistency with the
<br />adopted amendments of the Comprehensive Plan by the James Addition Task
<br />Force, because of traffic considerations, the separation from the neighborhood,
<br />and the impact on residential property values, and direct the City
<br />Attorney to prepare findings of denial and directing staff to notify the applicant
<br />of extension of the 60 day deadline. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wiski, and
<br />Maschka. Nays: Nays: Mastel and Wall.

<br />F-2 Goedeke moved, Maschka seconded, that an agreement with Randall Dyson, RANDALL DYSON
<br />to assess the cost to construct a conforming parking space and approving a
<br />minor variance to reduce the side yard setback to 4 feet for the driveway and
<br />parking space at 2474 Churchill Street, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke,
<br />Wiski Mastel, Maschka, and Wall. Nays: None.

<br />F-3 Mastel moved, Goedeke seconded, that the low bid of Central Landscape LANGTON LAKE
<br />Company in the amount of $302,163.26 for the construction at Langton Lake PARK
<br />Park of approximately 1-1/2 mile asphalt trail, 135 feet of boardwalk, the
<br />construction of two ballfields with fencing, and the utility work for installation
<br />of an irrigation system and the acceptance of Alternate 2 (Sections AI, A2, B,
<br />and C) for vinyl colored fencing and the construction of base work for future
<br />amenities as outlined in the project specifications, be approved and that Alternate
<br />1 be rejected for being outside the project budget. The monies for the proposed
<br />development are to be taken from the Parks and Recreation Infrastructure Fund
<br />and the grant from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Outdoor
<br />Recreation Program. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, Maschka, and
<br />Wall. Nays: None.
