REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />F-l Mastel moved, that the new park land on Chatsworth Street be officially named PIONEER <br />Zuettel Pioneer Park. Motion failed for lack of a second. PARK <br /> <br />H. <br />H-l <br /> <br />H-2 <br /> <br />I. <br />I-I <br /> <br />Wiski moved, Goedeke seconded, that the new park land on Chatsworth Street <br />be named Pioneer Park ,with an interpretive component to be named for <br />Herman Zuettel as the park plans develop. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Wiski, <br />and Wall. Nays: Maschka and Mastel. <br /> <br />Council moved to Item G. RECOGNITIONS at this time and moved <br />Items F-2 through F-4 to follow J. ORDINANCES AND CHANGE <br />RESOLUTIONS. <br /> <br />HEARINGS <br />Goedeke moved, Wiski seconded, that RT Minneapolis Franchise LLC (Ruby <br />Tuesday) Application for On Sale and Special Sunday Liquor Licenses at 145 <br />Rosedale Center be approved, with the condition that all required application <br />items be submitted before the licenses may be issued. The license will expire <br />December 31, 1998. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Wiski, and <br />Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, that Carol Moss' request for a minor <br />subdivision, to allow the subdivision of a 26,134 square foot (0.6 acre) <br />residential parcel into two 13,067 square foot (0.3 acre) residential parcels at <br />2207 County Road B West, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Mastel, <br />Goedeke, Wiski, and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />LAND USE <br />Mastel moved that a resolution approving Michael Heffernan's request for <br />variance to allow the construction of a second accessory building and a <br />variance to increase the lot coverage to 76.5% ofthe required rear yard for <br />the purpose of constructing a 28' x 36' detached garage at 2042-2044 Dale <br />Street North be adopted. Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Wiski moved, Mastel seconded, that a variance be granted to Michael <br />Heffernan permitting two detached garages, establishing a rear yard of <br />7,024 feet, the two garages to be measured as follows: the existing garage <br />748 square feet and the proposed garage at 1,008 square feet. That the <br />building as proposed would have 10 foot high walls, and there would be no <br />exterior lot storage, and that a hardship exists in the narrowness of the lot to <br />support the duplex operation.
