<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City <br />Hall in said City on Monday, the fourteenth day of October, 1991, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Thomas, Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, <br />and Rog <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />councilperson Cushman introduced and moved the adoption of the 'following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8718 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION <br />AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY <br />REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT NO. UL-92-17 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition requesting an improvement in the City of Roseville <br />at the the intersections of Millwood Avenue and Farrington Street and <br />Millwood Avenue and Western Avenue by the installation of street lights, <br />filed with the council on October 14, 1991, is hereby declared to be <br />signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 429.035. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That the petition be referred to the City Public Works Director for <br />study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should <br />best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, <br />and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilperson Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Thomas, Johnson, Cushman, Maschka, <br />and Rog <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
