<br />CC <br />ITYOUNCIL <br />City Council Minutes <br />Regular Meeting of September 24, 2001 <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members present <br />6:35 p.m. <br />(voting order): Maschka, Mastel, Klausing, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn. <br />Roll Call <br />Without objection, Kysylyczyn moved to Items G-1 & G-2, Recognitions. <br />Agenda Change <br />G-1Gasaway introduced Greg Peterson, Deputy Fire Chief. Peterson <br />Fire Department <br />described the Gold Standard Achievement of this Explorer Post; it <br />Explorer Post 547 <br />involved a written examination and numerous practical displays of <br />Gold Standard <br />skill. The City Council recognized the Indianhead Council of Boy <br />Explorer- <br />Scouts of America by presenting a plaque to The Roseville Fire <br />Firefighter <br />Department, Explorer Post 547, as the only competing Explorer Post <br />Challenge <br />to achieve the Gold Standard in the Explorer-Firefighter Challenge. <br />G-2Bierscheid explained the many invaluable contributions of Archie <br />Archie Eagles <br />Eagles to the City of Roseville, as well as the contribution of Eagles? <br />Family & Friends <br />family members. The City Council recognized the generous <br />contributions of Mr. Archie Eagles and his family and friends, valued at <br />over $8,000 for the new, large trophy case, TV and VCR for the <br />Roseville Arena. <br />A.Communications and Public Comment <br />A-1Kysylyczyn: <br />Requested Beets to read a resident?s letter of appreciation for <br />l <br />the Roseville Police Department. <br />Ramsey County Charter Commission Meeting Notice. <br />l <br />Noted his attendance at the Minnesota Mayors?Conference. He <br />l <br />will report on the conference at a future meeting. <br />Kysylyczyn and Goedeke attended the Grand Re-Opening of <br />l <br />the Radisson (former Ramada). <br />Asked about a meeting with state legislators before the City <br />l <br />Council. <br />Requested Beets to read a League of Minnesota (LMC) Press <br />l <br />Release regarding Kysylyczyn being named Vice Chair of the <br />Policy Committee. <br />A-2Goedeke reminded residents of the 9/27/01 Ramsey County League <br />of Local Governments (RCLLG) meeting. <br />B.Approval of MinutesMinutes <br />B-1Kysylyczyn moved, Goedeke seconded, that the minutes of the <br />Minutes of Regular <br />regular meeting of September 10, 2001, be approved.
