<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1025 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE BY <br />PROVIDING THAT THE PRIMARY ELECTION SHALL BE HELD SIX WEEKS PRIOR TO <br />THE MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Section 239.020 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />239.020. Primary Election System. Whenever proper affidavits uf <br />candidacy or applications for candidacy have been filed for a nurnbel. <br />of candidates for municipal office to be voted upon in a regular <br />municipal election, equal to a number in excess of two for the office <br />of Mayor, or in excess of two for each office of Councilmember, then a <br />Municipal Primary Election shall be held for such office, or offices, <br />six weeks prior to the Municipal General Election. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fl"Om and after <br /> <br />its passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City council of the City of Roseville this 11th day <br /> <br />of January, 1988. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />
