EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 25 day of November, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Johnson, and the following were absent: Cushman, Rog. Thomas, Maschka, and Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adop- tion: RESOLUTION NO. 8726 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ROSEVILLE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE FOR POLICE SERVICES, SUBJECT TO FINAL SUPPORT BY THE FALCON HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights supports a Roseville/Lauderdale contract for Police Services; and WHEREAS, the Roseville/Lauderdale contract for Police Services does not adversely affect services provided Roseville and Falcon Heights residents; and WHEREAS, the Roseville/Lauderdale contract provides for significant cost savings to Roseville and Falcon Heights residents; and WHEREAS, in the spirit of cooperation, the Roseville and Falcon Heights city Councils approve the extension of Police Services to Lauderdale at the same cost per capita enjoyed by Roseville and Falcon Heights, and WHEREAS, the cities of Roseville and Lauderdale have been discussing Police Services with the full knowledge and support of the administra- tions and City Councils of Roseville and Falcon Heights; and WHEREAS, the cities of Roseville and Falcon Heights recognize the contract for Police Services with Lauderdale will be for a two year term; and WHEREAS, the cities of Roseville and Falcon Heights believe that the extension of the Police Services contract will be mutually beneficial to Roseville, Falcon Heights, and Lauderdale residents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville city Manager execute a contract for Police Services with the city of Lauderdale. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, and John- son, and the following voted against the same: None.
