<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 25 day of November, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Johnson, and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Cushman, <br />Rog. <br /> <br />Thomas, <br /> <br />Maschka, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adop- <br />tion: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8726 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ROSEVILLE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE FOR POLICE SERVICES, <br />SUBJECT TO FINAL SUPPORT BY THE FALCON HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights supports a Roseville/Lauderdale <br />contract for Police Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville/Lauderdale contract for Police Services does <br />not adversely affect services provided Roseville and Falcon Heights <br />residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville/Lauderdale contract provides for significant <br />cost savings to Roseville and Falcon Heights residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in the spirit of cooperation, the Roseville and Falcon <br />Heights city Councils approve the extension of Police Services to <br />Lauderdale at the same cost per capita enjoyed by Roseville and Falcon <br />Heights, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cities of Roseville and Lauderdale have been discussing <br />Police Services with the full knowledge and support of the administra- <br />tions and City Councils of Roseville and Falcon Heights; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cities of Roseville and Falcon Heights recognize the <br />contract for Police Services with Lauderdale will be for a two year <br />term; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cities of Roseville and Falcon Heights believe that the <br />extension of the Police Services contract will be mutually beneficial <br />to Roseville, Falcon Heights, and Lauderdale residents; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville city Manager <br />execute a contract for Police Services with the city of Lauderdale. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, and John- <br />son, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />"IIDnDuron OCl.;Î..1 >.;".;..o..,l.u.~;Î...,n ~CI.O .1ç.;..l.cu.:ç.1 .1u.l.y 1"0.00';".1 CI.n.1 CI.dop~c.d. <br />
