<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, December 9, 1991, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Thomas, Cushman, Johnson, <br />and Rog <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8727 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 8718 <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR PROJECT UL-92-17 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition was received on October 14, 1991, requesting the <br />installation of street lights at the intersections of Millwood Avenue <br />and Farrington Street and Millwood Avenue and Western Avenue¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City council at its regularly scheduled council meeting on <br />October 14, 1991, passed Resolution No. 8718 declaring the adequacy of <br />the petition and ordering the preparation of a feasibility report for <br />improvement No. UL-92-17¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a cost estimate for the installation of the street lights was <br />requested of NSP¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in NSP's cost study, it was discovered that the requested <br />street lights could be served by overhead wire at no additional cost to <br />the City of Roseville which would eliminate assessments and a public <br />improvement¡ <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, that Resolution No. 8718 requesting a feasibility <br />study for project UL-92-17 be rescinded and project UL-92-17 be <br />canceled. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Thomas and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Thomas, <br />Cushman, Johnson, and Rog <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
