<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 1044 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 'rHE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, RES'rRIC'rING CERTAIN ACTIVITES OF CITY EMPLOYEES BY <br />REVOKING SEC'rrON 264.097 GRATUITIES AND ADDING SEC'rrON 254.097 <br />GRATUITIES. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> <br />does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City Code of the City of Roseville is <br /> <br />amended by deleting Section 264.097 Gratuities and adding Section <br /> <br />254.097 Gratuities to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 254.097. Gratuities. Employees <br />may accept holiday gifts on behalf of the <br />city or the department when the gift is a <br />non-alcoholic item, and it is consumable <br />within the department offices by department <br />employees, and where the gift is of a modest <br />or nominal value. No employee shall accept <br />or receive any personal holiday gift. This <br />policy does not limit departments from being <br />more restrictive if it is important to the <br />effective functioning of the department. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br /> <br />and after its passage and publication. <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> <br />this 8th day of August <br /> <br />, 1988.
