<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1046 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 151.030(3) OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE REGARDING LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR <br />INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE HOLDERS. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 151.030, paragraph (3), of the City Code of the City <br /> <br />of Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(3) Liability Insurance. Prior to the issuance of a <br />license under this ordinance, the applicant shall <br />file with the City Manager an insurance policy <br />covering liquor liability and loss of means of <br />support in the amount of One Hundred Thousand <br />Dollars ($100,000.00) of coverage because of <br />bodily injury to anyone (1) person in anyone (1) <br />occurrence, Two Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />($200,000.00) because of bodily injury to two (2) <br />or more persons in anyone (1) occurrence, Twenty <br />Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) because of injury to <br />or destruction of property of others in anyone <br />(1) occurrence, One Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />($100,000.00) for loss of means of support of any <br />one (1) person in anyone (l) occurrence, and Two <br />Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) for loss of <br />means of support for two (2) or more persons in <br />anyone (1) occurrence. In the event such policy <br />provides for a Three Hundred Thousand Dollar <br />($300,000.00) annual aggregate policy limit as is <br />provided in Minn. Stat. ~ 340A.409, said policy <br />shall further require that in the event that the <br />policy limits are reduced in any given year <br />because of the Three Hundred Thousand Dollar <br />($300,000.00) annual aggregate policy limit, the <br />insurance carrier shall provide the City of <br />Roseville with written notice of said reduction in <br />policy limits within thirty (30) days of said <br />reduction becoming effective. Thereafter, the <br />City Council may require the licensee to take <br />further action with regard to liability insurance <br />in order to protect citizens of the City during <br />the period of the reduced aggregate policy limit. <br />
