<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1049 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 232.090 OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE CHANGING AGE REQUIREMENTS AND PROBATIONARY <br />PERIOD FOR VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Section 232.090 of the City Code of the City of Roseville is <br /> <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />232.090. Qualifications for Deputy Chief, <br />District Chiefs, and Firefighters. The Deputy Chief, <br />District Chiefs and Firefighters shall be not less than <br />twenty-one (21) years nor more than sixty-five (65) <br />years of age and shall be able bodied. They shall <br />become members of the Fire Department after a one and <br />one-half (l!) year probationary period, and all new <br />members appointed to the Fire Department shall not be <br />appointed on or after their forty-fifth (45th) birthday. <br />The Council may require that each candidate, before the <br />candidate becomes a probationary Firefighter, satisfy <br />certain minimum physical and educational requirements <br />as well as other requirements which may be specified, <br />from ti~e to time, by the Council.
