<br />ORDINANCE NO. 121 <br /> <br />55 <br /> <br />AN OBDIIUJfCll LICENSIJ:TG AND REGULATn~G THE ESTABLISHMENT, MAUTTENANCE AND OPlmATION <br />OF P1J.BLIC DRIVIl~G TEES AND PROVIDING PJIlNALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. <br /> <br />The Village Oouncil of Roseville do ordain as follows: <br /> <br />DC!IOK 1 <br /> <br />No person, firm or corporation shall establish, maintain or operate a public <br />driving tee, as herein defined., in the Village of Roseville without first having ob- <br />tained a license so to do as hereinafter provided. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />For the purpose of this ordinance a public d.riving tee shall mean ~ area or <br />plot of ground arranged. or used for the driving of golf balls where a fee is charged <br />therefor. <br /> <br />SEOTIOW J <br /> <br />Any person desiring a license to establish, maintain or operate a public driving <br />tee ahall make application in writing to the Village Council by filing said applica- <br />tion with the Village Clerk. The following information is to be set forth in the <br />application: <br /> <br />(a) Name of applicant. <br /> <br />(b) The location and legal description of the proposed driVing tee site. <br /> <br />(c) A statement as to whether the applicant owns said. property and, if <br />leased, a copy of said lease. <br /> <br />(d.) The location of the driveways for ingress and egress from said site. <br /> <br />SECTION 4 <br /> <br />The applicant shall deposit with the Village Clerk at the time of the filing of <br />his application the sum of $75.00 which sum is hereby set as the license fee to operate <br />a pu1Jlic driving tee and the Village Clerk shall thereupon deliver to each applicant <br />duplicate receipts therefor containing a statement of the purpose for which such deposit <br />was mad.e and one of said receipts shall be attached to and filed. with said application. <br /> <br />SECTION .5 <br /> <br />No license for a public driving tee shall be granted. unless the distance from <br />the place of driving to the nearest bt1ilding or road in the direction in which the <br />balls are driven is 400 feet or more. <br />!I~ <br /> <br />SECTION 6 <br /> <br />Suitable lights shall be placed. upon said property to effectively light all <br />entranoes and exits. Lights used for the purpose of lighting the driving a.rea shall <br />be placed. so as not to shine upon or interfere with surrounding property. <br />
