65 ORDINANCE NO. 127 AN ORDINANCE .AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 100 EHTITLED: "An Ordinanoe Providing for all Matters Concerning, Regulating or Affecting the Construction, Alteration, Regulation, Repair and Inspeotion of all Buildings, Walks, S~ruotures Erected or to be Ereoted in the Village of Roseville for the Protection of Property against Fire, and for the Purpose of Seouring Healthful, Safe and Sanitary Environment for the Oooupants of Buildings Used for Human Habita- -tion or %herw:i.se; -to Prohi.bi-t -the Unlawful use or Oocupancy of all Buildings, Walls, or structures and Providing Penalties for the Violation thereof. tt As Amended, providing for the oonstruction of Chimneys, Floors and Walls of bui ld ings. The Village Counsel of Roseville ordains: SECTION 1 That Ordinanoe No. 100 Entitled: It An Ordinance Providing for All Matters Concerning, Regulating or Affecting the Construction, Alteration, Regulation, Repair and Inspection of all Buildings, Walks, Structures Erected or to be Erected in the Village of Roseville for the Protection of Property against Fire, and for the Purpose of Seouring Healthful, Safe and Sanitary Environment for the Oocupants of Buildings Used for Human Habita- tion, or otherwise; to Prohibit the Unlawful Use or Oooupancy of all Buildings, Walls, or Structures and Providing Penalties for the Violation thereof." As Amended, is further amended as follows: (a) By adding to Section 4-13 the words "exoept a5 provided in Section 4-21.A. II (b) By adding to Section 4-19 the words "exoept as provided in Section 4-2lA. .. (0 ) By adding to Seotion 4-20 the words "exoept as provided in Section 4-2lA." (d) By adding to Seotion 4-21 the words "except as provided in Seetion 4_21." SECTION II That said Ordinanoe No. 100 is further amended by inserting after Seotion 4-21 the following: 't4_21.A. A fabrioated ohimney built of such materials and oonstructed in such manner that it will meet or exceed the functional requirements of a chimney built in aocorda.nce with the aforementioned Sections of the Code and whioh meets the standards of the National Board of Fire Underwriters shall be acceptable upon ap- proval by the Council.In aetennining the funotional characteristics of the fabri- cated chimney, the Council may require reports of a recognized engineering or test- ing authority."
