<br />68 <br /> <br />. . :J <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 129 <br /> <br />AN ORDINA1WE PROHIBITING THE CONSTRUCTION OF DRIVEWAYS CONNECTING WITH PUBLIC STREETS <br />WITHOUT A PERMIT AND PROVIDING REGUlATIONS THEREFOR. <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />No person, firm or corporation shall hereafter constr1,1ct, alter of substantially <br />repair a driveway connecting with a public street within the Village of Roseville <br />unless a permit therefor is obtained as hereina:f'ber provided. '--- <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />Any person, firm or corporation desiring to construct, alter or substantially <br />repair a driveway connecting with a public street in the Village of Roseville shall <br />first make application to the Building Inspector of said Village in the form pre.. <br />scribed by said Inspector and shall pay to said Inspector the sum of $5.00 for said <br />permit whioh shall be the permit fee to pe paid to said Village. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />Upon a~lication being made and said fee being paid, the Building Inspector <br />shall issue a permit for the construotion of said driveway and said permit shall <br />speoify the grade at which said driveway shall be constructed so as to oonform <br />to the established grade of said street and said Building Inspector shall oause <br />stakes to be placed upon the ground showing the presoribed grade of said driveway <br />and no driveway shall heree.:f'ber be constructed, altered, or substantially repaired <br />except at the grade presoribed in said permit. <br /> <br />IV <br /> <br />Said driveway shall be constructed to the satisfaction of said Village Engineer. <br /> <br />V <br /> <br />Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a mis.. <br />demeanor punishable by fine not to exceed $100 or blprisomnent not to exceed 90 days. <br /> <br />VI <br /> <br />This ordinanoe shall take effeot September 1st, 1950. <br /> <br />Passed by the Counoi1 this 1st day of August, 1950. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />President of Counoil <br /> <br />,(seal) <br /> <br />cr:v~ . <br />/\ ~- <br />; \ <br />U <br />
