79 ORDINANCE NO. 139 A.,,~ ORDINANCE REGULATING AND LICENSING THE OPERATION OF "[RIVE-IN BUSTIlESSES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE The Village Council of Roseville ordains: SECTION I A drive-in business for the purpose of tllis ord~nance shall mean any \ business where an essential element thereof is the driving of a vehicle onto the business premises for the purpose of being served fooustuffs for consumption in the vehicle. SECTION II It shall be unlawful for &lY persen, firm or corporation to operate a drive-in business within the Village of Roseville without first having obtained a license su to do as hereinafter provided. SECTION III Any person deoiring to engage in tile business of operating a drive-in business shall make application in writing to the Village council by filing said application with the Village Clerk. The following information shall be set forth in the application: (s,) The name and place of residence of the applicant. (b) The exact location of the premises at which the applicant proposes to carry on said business. (c) The nature of the business and the nature of the foodstuffs which the applicant proposes to sell. SECTION IV The applicffilt shall deposit with the Village Clerk at the time of filing his application, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), which sum is hereby set as a license fee to engage III said business, and the Village Clerk shall thereupon deliver to such applicant duplicate receipts thereof containing a statement of the purpose for which such deposit was made a~d one of said receipts shall be attached to and filed with said application. SECTION V The Council shall make such investigation as it may deem necessary to determine whether the operation of said business will interfere with traffic, whether it will interfere with the quiet enjoyment of the property of surrounding property owners, whether it '{ill create an unhealthful situation by reason of the discarding of refuse by the purchasers, and an investigation into such other matters as the Council shall deem necessary. SECTION VI The license herein provided for shall be in addition to all other licenses required by the ordinances of the Village of Roseville.
