<br />ORDINANCE NO. l4l-A <br /> <br />AN ..ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 100 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ALL <br />MATTERS CONCERNING, REGULATING, OR AFFECTING THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, REGU- <br />LATION, REPAIR AND INSPECTION OF ALL BUILDINGS, WALKS, STRUCTURES ERECTED OR TO <br />BE ERECTED IN THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, FOR THE PROTECTION OF PROPERTY AGAINST <br />FIRE, AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF SEClJRING HEALTHFUL, SAFE AND SANITARY ENVIRONWNT FOR <br />THE OCCUPANTS OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMAN HABITATION OR OTHERWISE; TO PROHIBIT THE <br />UNLAWFUL USE OR OCCUPANCY OF ALL BUILDINGS, WALLS OR STRUCTURES AND PROVIDING PEN- <br />ALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF", AS AMENDED. <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 100 entitled "An Ordinance Providing for all Matters <br />Concerning, Regulating, or Affecting the Construction, Alteration, Regulation, Re- <br />pair and Inspection of all Buildings, Walks, Structures Erected or to be Erected <br />in the Village of Roseville, for the Protection of Property Against Fire, and for <br />the Purpose of Securing Healthful, Safe and Sanitary Environment for the Occupants <br />of Buildings used for Human Habitation or Otherwise; to Prohibit the Unlawful use <br />or occupancy of all Buildings, Walls or Structures and Providing Penalties for the <br />Violation Thereof", as amended, be further amended as follows: <br /> <br />(a) By inserting the following paragraph after paragraph 2-6 thereof: <br /> <br />"2-6A. No permit shall be issued by the Building Inspector where <br />the property is adjacent to a public street unless the grade <br />thereof has been established by the Village and unless the <br />building shall conform to said established grade." <br /> <br />(b) By striking therefrom Section 5-4 and Section 5-5. <br /> <br />(c) &J striking therefrom Section 5-10 and inserting in lieu thereof <br />the following: <br /> <br />"5-10. In every dwelling house hereafter erected there shall be <br />at least three livable rooms and the overall dimensions shall <br />contain an area of not less than 672 square feet and said living <br />rooms shall not be located in a basement. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 1st day of July, 1952. <br /> <br />George S.
