<br />8'8 <br /> <br />$1.00 <br /> <br />$1.00 for each installation for wiring for and/or installing <br />outline d.ecorative, display or other lighting employing luninous <br />tubes energized by transformers, for the first five hundred (500) <br />vol t-amperes, or fraction thereof. <br /> <br />10; <br /> <br />10; for each additional one hundred (100) volt-amperes, over <br />the first 500. <br /> <br />This volt-ampere rating shall be based on primary current and <br />vol tage. <br /> <br />$1.00 (e) For the alteration, rearrangement or repair of existing electri- <br />cal equipnent or for other electrical work not incl Med in the <br />above--$l.OO for each hundred dollars ($100.00) or fraction <br />. thereof, of the estimated cost of the installati~n. <br /> <br />Where a combined certificate of inspection is issued for both wiring and <br />fixtures, the fee to be charged on s-uch certificate shall equal the <br />combined. fees as set forth above. <br /> <br />Upon the filing of the application and the payment of the fee, a penn1t <br />shall be issued to the applicant. <br /> <br />SECTION 6 <br /> <br />Certificate of Inspection. Upon the completion of the electrical work,. . <br />it shall be the duty of the person, firm or corporation doing the same to notify <br />the electrical inspector, who shall inspect the installation within forty-eight <br />hours of the time such notice is given; and if it is found to be fully in <br />compliance with this ordinance and does not constitute a hazard to life and <br />property, he shall issue a certificate of inspection authorizing connection <br />to the electrical service and the turning on of the current. All wires which <br />are to be hidden from view 'Shall be inspected before concealment, and any <br />person, firm or corporation installing such wires shall notify the electrical <br />inspector, giving him forty-eight hours in which to make the required inspection <br />before such wires are concealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 7 <br /> <br />Construction Requirements. No certificate of inspection shall be issued <br />unless the electrical work is done in strict conformity with the provisions <br />of this ordinance, the statutes of the State of Minnesota, the rules and regula.- <br />tions issued by the Industrial Commission of Minnesota and the Railroad and <br />Warehouse Commission under authority of the state statutes, and unless they are <br />in conformity with the most approved methods of construction for safety to <br />life and pro-perty. The regulations as laid down in the National Electrical Code, <br />as approved by the American Engineering Standard~ Committee, and in the National <br />Electrical Safety Code, as approved by thE! American Engineering Standards <br />Committee, shall be prima facie evidence of such most approved methods. <br />
