<br />ORQINANCE NO. 147 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 100 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR <br />ALL MATTERS CONCERNING, REGULATING OR AFFECTING THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, <br />REGULATION, REPAIR AND INSPECTION OF ALL BUILDINGS, WALKS, STRUCTURES ERECTED <br />OR TO BE ERECTED IN THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE FOR THE PROTECTION OF PROPERTY <br />AGAINST FIRE, AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURING HEALTHFUL, SAFE AND SANITARY <br />ENVIRONMENT FOR THE OCCUPAllTS OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMAN HABITATION OR OTHER- <br />WISE; TO PROHIBIT THE m~LAWFUL USE OR OCCUPANCY OF ALL BUILDINGS, WALLS, OR <br />STRUCTURES AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF". <br /> <br />9 ~, <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION I <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 100 entitled "An Ordinance Providing for All Matters <br />Concerning, Regulating or Affecting the Construction, Alteration, Regulation, <br />Repair and Inspection of All Buildings, Walks, structures Erected or To Be <br />Erected in the Village of Roaeville for the Protection of Property Against Fire, <br />and for the Purpose of Securing Healthful, Safe and Sanitary Environment for <br />the Occupants of Buildings Used for Human Habitation or Otherwise; to Prohibit <br />the Unlawful Use or Occupancy of All Buildings, Walls, or Structures and Pro- <br />viding Penalties for the Violation Thereof" be amended by striking therefrom <br />Sections 5-26, 5-28 mld 5-29 and by inserting in lieu of Section 5-26 the <br />following: <br /> <br />"5-26. t!o person, firm. or corporation shall place a trailer upon any <br />improved or unimproved tract of land for use as a dwelling for a period of <br />more than two weeks without obtaining a permit therefrom from the Village Council. <br />Application for said permit shall be in writing to the Village Council and shall <br />set forth the location of the place where the applicant desires to place said <br />trailer, together with the sanitary facilities available for said trailer. The <br />Council shall consider said application and grant or deny the same. The Council <br />may attach such conditions to such permit as it shall deem necessary for the <br />public health, safety and morals of the Village. All permits heretofore granted <br />by the Building Inspector of the Village shall be valid until the date of expir- <br />ation thereof. <br /> <br />SECTION II <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect 8nd be in force from and after its <br />passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 20th day of January, 1953. <br /> <br />George S.
