<br />ORDINANCE NO. 156 <br /> <br />121 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 149 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF PROMOTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY AND GENERAL <br />WELFARE BY PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND RESTRUCTION OF THE <br />ERECTION OF TRADES AND INDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMAN HABITATION <br />AND FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES, REGULATING AND DETERMINING THE MINIMUM SIZE OF YARD <br />AREAS, ESTABLISHING THE BREAKDOWN OF DISTRICTS FOR SAID PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING <br />PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition has been filed to rezone the following property to a <br />business district: ' <br /> <br />The East 229.27 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 <br />of Section 15, Township 29, Range 23, except the North 767 feet <br />and except the South 369.89 feet, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has called and held a hearing upon said petition to <br />rezone, the Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 149 entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting <br />the Public Health, Safety, Order, Commerce, Property and General Welfare by <br />Providing for the Classification, Regulation a~d Restriction of the Erection of <br />Trades and Industries and of Buildings used for Human Habitation and for Specified <br />Purposes, Regulating and Determining the Miniunua Size of Yard Areas, Establishing <br />the Breakdown of Districts for said Purposes, and Providing Penalties for Viola- <br />tion Thereof", as amended, be further amended by amending the zoning map so that <br />said property above described is classified and zoned as a business district. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />That said zoning ordinance and zoning map be further amended so that a <br />set back of 20 feet be required along the west line of said property for all <br />business uses and that said westerly 20 feet of said property shall be l~ted <br />to the uses of seeding grass, planting shrubbery and trees, and maintaining same, <br />and as soon as practicable screening trees and bushes shall be planted thereon. <br /> <br />SECTION 3 <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage <br />and upon the delivery to-the Village of a 33 foot eas~ent for street purposes <br />extending along the north line of said property and immediately to the north <br />thereof and upon the filing with the Clerk within thirty (30) days after the <br />publication of this ordinance, petitioners written acceptance of the provisions <br />hereof. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 16th day of June, 1953. <br /> <br />George S.
