<br />1 2 4 ORDINANCE NO. 159 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 100 ENTITLED "An Ordinance Providing <br />for All Matters Concerning, Regulating, or Affecting the Construction, Alteration, <br />Regulation, Repair and Inspection of All Buildings, Walks, Structures Erected or <br />to be Erected in the Village of Roseville for the Protection of Property against <br />Fire, and for the Purpose of Securing Healthful, Safe and Sanitary Environment for <br />the Occupants of Buildings Used for Human Habitation or Otherwise; to Prohibit the <br />Unlawful Use or Occupancy of all Buildings, Walls, or Structures and Providing <br />Penalties for the Violation Thereof," as amended. <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 100 entitled "An Ordinance Providing for All Matters <br />Concerning, Regulating, or Affecting the Construction, Alteration, Regulation, <br />Repair and Inspection of all Buildings, Walks, Structures Erected or to be Erec- <br />ted in the Village of Roseville for the Protection of Property against Fire, and <br />for the Purpose of Securing Healthful, Safe and Sanitary Environment for the Oc- <br />cupants of Buildings Used for Human Habitation or Otherwise; to Prohibit the Un- <br />lawful Use or Occupanqy of all Buildings, Walls, or Structures and Providing <br />Penalties for the Violation Thereof" as amended, is hereby further amended by <br />inserting in Section 2 after subsection 15 the following section: <br /> <br />"2-15A. Any person, firm, or corporation who shall commence work of <br />any kind for which a permit is required under the provisions of this ordinance <br />without having first received the necessary permit therefor shall, when subse- <br />quently securing such permit, be required to pay double the fees provided by <br />this Ordinance for such permit, and shall be subject to all the penal provisions <br />of this ordinance." <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its <br />passage and publication. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 14th day of July, 1953. <br /> <br />George S.
