<br />:153 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 164 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AJlENDING ORDINANCE NO. 149 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />PROMOTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY AND GENERAL <br />WELFARE BY PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND RESTRICTION OF THE <br />ERECTION OF TRADES AND INDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMAN HABITATION <br />AND FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES, REGULATING AND DETERMINING THE MINIMUM SIZE OF YAR.D <br />AREAS, ESTABLISHING THE BREAKDOWN OF DISTRICTS FOR SAID PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING <br />PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, It AS AMENDED. <br /> <br />Whereas, a petition has been filed to rezone the following described <br />property to a business district, <br /> <br />"That part of the SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 Sec. 16, Township 29, <br />Range 23, commencing at a point on the E line of said Section, <br />722.81 ft. S of NE corner of said Section; thence W 657.45 ft. to a point <br />on the W line of E 1/2 of NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of said Section, 722.22 ft. <br />S of the N line of said Section; thence S along said W line of E 1/2 <br />of NE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of said Section, 458.22 ft.a thence E 657.36 ft. <br />to a point on the E line of said Section 1181.74 ft. S of the NE <br />corner of said Section; thence N along the E line of said Section <br />458.87 ft. to place of beginning, excepting therefrom tne N 2 acres <br />thereof, and except S 3 acres thereof." and <br /> <br />Whereas, the Council has called and held a hearing for the rezoning of <br />said property as required by ordinance, <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordainsa <br /> <br />SECTION ); <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 149 entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting <br />the Public Health, Safety, Order, Commerce, Property and General Welfare by <br />providing for the Classification, Regulation and Restriction of the Erection or <br />Trades and Industries and of Buildings llsed for Human Habitation and for Specified <br />Purposes, Regulating and Determining the Minimum. Size of Yard Areas, Establishing <br />the Breakdown of Districts for Said ~lrposes, and Providing Penalties for Violation <br />Thereof" be amended b:r Amending the zoning map so that said property above described <br />be classified and zoned as a Business District. <br /> <br />SECTION II <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 1st day of September , 1953. <br /> <br />George S.
