<br />Llb5 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 165 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDL~ANCE NO. 149 ENTITLED II AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />PROMOTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY AND GENER.A1 WELFARE <br />BY PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND RESTRICTION OF THE ERECTION OF <br />TRADES AND INDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMAN HABITATION AND FOR SPECIFIED PUR- <br />POSES, REGULATING AND DETERMINING THE MINIMUM SIZE OF YARD AREAS, ESTABLISHING THE <br />BREAKDOWN OF DISTRICTS FOR SAID PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION <br />THEP..EOF", AS A.\1ENDED <br /> <br />Whereas, a petition has been filed to rezone the following described <br />property to Residence District A, <br /> <br />"Premises bounded on the Sout.h by Trunk Highway No. 36, on the <br />North by County Road "B2", on the East by North Grotto Street <br />and on the West by Lexington Avenue.", and <br /> <br />Whereas, the COUD(}il has called and held a hearing for the rezoning of <br />said property as required by ordinance, <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordainsa <br /> <br />SECTION I <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 149 entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting <br />the Public Health, Safety, Order, Commerce, Property and General Welfare by <br />providing for the Classification, Regulation and Restriction of the Erection of <br />Trades and Industries and of Buildings used for Human Habitation and for Specified <br />Purposes, Regulating and Determining the MinimuIa Size of Yard Areas, Establishing <br />the Breakdown of Districts for Said Purposes, and Providing Penalties for <br />Violation Thereof" be amended by amending the zoning map so that said propert~r above <br />described be classified Bnd zoned as Residence District A. <br /> <br />SECTION II <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 1st <br /> <br />day of September, 1953. <br /> <br />_George S.
