<br />160 :' <br />. ORDINANCE NO. 168 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DISCHARGE OF THE CONTENTS OF PRIVY VAULTS, SEPTIC <br />TANKS, CESSPOOLS, SINKS, OR PRIVATE DRAINS OR OTHER OFFENSIVE WASTE WITHIN <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, AND PROVIDING P1'NALTY THEREFOR. <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />No person, firm or corporation shall discharge the contents of any privy <br />vault, septic tank, cesspool, sink, or private drain or discharge any other <br />offensive waste upon the surface of any platted lot, upon any public or <br />private street, in or upon any surface drain, or in any stream, lake, body <br />of water, or drainage structure within the Village of Roseville. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />The cleaning and/or emptying of the contents of any privy vault, septic <br />tank, cesspool, sink, or private drain located upon a platted lot in the <br />Village of Roseville shall be done in an inoffensive manner and the contents <br />shall be placed in and be removed from the premises in clos~, tight covered <br />barrels, receptacles, or tank trucks so as to prevent the scattering, dropping <br />or leaking thereof while being transported, and shall be discharged or <br />destroyed so as not to be offensive to surrounding property owners. <br /> <br />SECTION 3 <br /> <br />Any person, firm or corporation violating the provlslons of this ordinance <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by fine of not to exceed <br />One Hundred and 66/100 ($100.00) Dollars or imprisonment not to exceed <br />90 days. <br /> <br />SECTION 4 <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 15th day of September, 1953. <br /> <br />George S.
