<br />ORDINANCE NO.1 '( 3 1 6 7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 149 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF PROMOTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY AND GENERAL <br />WELFARE BY PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND RESTRICTION OF THE <br />OF THE ERECTION OF TRADES AND INDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMAN HABIT!.. <br />TION AND FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES, REGULATING AND DETERMINING THE MINIMUM SIZE OF <br />YARD AREAS, ESTABLISHING THE BREAKDOWN OF DISTRICTS FOR SAID PURPOSES, AND <br />PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF," AS AMENDED. <br /> <br />Whereas, a petition has been filed to rezone the following described <br />property to a Business District, <br /> <br />The West 40 feet of the East 288 feet of that par~ of the Northeast 1/4 <br />of the Southwest 1/4 of Sec. 11, T. 29, R. 23, described as follows: <br />Commencing at a point on the East line of the Southwest 1/4 of Sec. 11, <br />655.74 feet South from the center line of said Section; thence West <br />1320 feet; thence South 163.25 feet; thence East 990 feet; thence North <br />49.50 feet; thence East 330 feet; thence North 113.37 feet to place of <br />beginning, except the North 12 feet thereof, according to the United <br />States Government Survey thereof. <br /> <br />(Known as "888 Lovell), and <br /> <br />ftereas, the Council has called and held a hearing for the rezoning of <br />said property as required by ordinance, <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 149 entitled flAn Ordirlance for the Purpose of Promoting <br />the Public health, Safety, Order, Commerce, Property and General Welfare by <br />providing for the Classification, Regulation and Destriction of ttle Erection of <br />Trades and Industries and of Buildings used for Human Habitation and for Specified <br />Purposes, R~gulating and Determining the Minimum Size of Yard Areas, Establishing <br />the Breakdown of Districts for Said Purposes, and Providing Penalties for Violation <br />Thereoftt be amended by amending the zoning map so that said property above <br />described be classified and zoned as a Business District. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 6th day of October, 1953. <br /> <br />tit <br /> <br />George S.
