<br />170 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 175 <br /> <br />AN ORDINAdCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 149 ENTITLED II AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF FROMCTL'JG THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPBRTY AND GENERAL <br />WELFARE BY PROVIDDG FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND RESTRICTION OF THE <br />ERECTION OF TRADES AND HlDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUIvIAN HABITATION AND <br />FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES, REGULATING AND DETERMI:UNG THE MINIMUM SIZE CF YARD AREAS, <br />ESTABLISHLjQ THE BREAKDO\~N CF DISTRICTS FOR SAID PURPOSES, AND PROVmING PENALTIES <br />FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, II AS Alv';ENDED. - <br /> <br />vmEREAS, a petition has been filed to rezone the follOWing described property to <br />a business District, <br /> <br />The East one-half (E~) of the Southeast one-fourth (SEl) of the <br />Southeast one-fourth (SEl) of the Southeast one-fourth (SEl) of <br />Section 9, Township 29, Range 23, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has called and held a hearing forthe rezoning of said <br />property as required by ordinance, <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 149 entitled "An Ordinance for. the Purpose of Promoting the <br />Public Health, Safety, Order, Com:TIerce, Property and General Welfare by Providing <br />for th&Classification, Regulation and Restriction of the Erection of Trades and <br />Industries and of Buildings used for Human Habitation and for Specified Purposes, <br />Regulating and Determining the Minimum Size of Yard Areas, Establishing the <br />Breakdown of Districts for Said Purposes, and Providing Penalties for Violation <br />Thereofll be amended by amending the zoning map so that said property above <br />described be classified and zoned as a Business District. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 15th day of December 1953. <br /> <br />George S.
