ORDINANCE M.ffiNDI~G ORDINANCE NO. 149 ENTITLED "~~ ORDINA1~CE FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF PROMOTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY AND GENERAL <br />WELFARE BY PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND RESTRICTION OF THE <br />ERECTION OF TRADES AND INDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMM~ HABITATION AND <br />FOR SPECIFIED PURPOSES, REGULATING AND DETERMINING THE MINIMUM SIZE OF YARD AREAS, <br />ESTABLISHING THE BREAKDOWN OF DISTRICTS FOR SAID PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES <br />FOR VIOLATION THEREOF," AS AMENDED. <br /> <br />WHERFAS, A PETITION HAS BEEN FILED TO REZONE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY TO <br />AN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, <br /> <br />The Easterly 180 feet of the Westerly 346.2 feet of the South <br />220 feet of the North 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest <br />1/4 of Section 17, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />W:~EREAS, the Council has called and held a hearing for the rezoning of said <br />property as required by ordinance, <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains~ <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 149 entitled "An Ordinance for the Purpose of Promoting the <br />Public Health, Safety, Order, Commerce, Property and General Welfare by Providing <br />for the Classification, Regulation and Restriction of the Erection of Trades and <br />Industries and of Buildings used for Human Habitation and for Specified Purposes, <br />Regulating and Determining the Minimum Size of Yard Areas, Establishing the <br />Breakdown of Districts for Said Purposes, and Providing Penalties for Violation <br />thereof" be amended by amending the zoning map so that said property above <br />described be classified and zoned as INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />Passed by the Council this 15th day of December 1953. <br /> <br />George S.
