<br />172 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 177 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AJ,IENDING ORDINANCE NO. 150 El~TITLED "AN ORDINANCE LICENSING AND <br />REGULATIi~G DOGS, PROVIDING FOR IMPOUNDING DOGS AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY FOR <br />VIOLATION". <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 150 entitled "An Ordinance Licensing and Regulating Dogs <br />providing for Impounding Dogs and prescribing a Penalty for Violation" is <br />hereby amended by striking therefrom subsetion (b) of'Section I and <br />inserting in lieu thereof ~he following: <br /> <br />"(b) "At large" means off the premises of the owner and not under <br />the control of the owner, a member of'his immediate family, or a person <br />designated by the owner, by leash." <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />That said ordinance is hereby further amended by striking therefrom <br />Section 13 and inserting in lieu thereof the following: <br /> <br />"SECTION 13. Confinement of Dogs - No dog shall be allowed by its <br />owner to run at large. The police officers of the Village shall take up <br />and impound any dog found in violation of this Drovision, and release it <br />only upon the order of the Council after the payment of the fees 'provided <br />in SECTION 8." <br /> <br />SECTION 3 <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage <br />and publication. <br /> <br />Passed by the Louncil this 5th day of January, 1954. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />FLOIn;~ $.Yof~ <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />B.~ <br />
