ORDINANCE NO. 182 177 An Ordinance Licensing and Regulating the Business of Plasterers, Out- side Stucco Work and Lathing and Providing a Penalty for the Violation Thereor~ The Village Council of Roseville ordains: SECTION 1 It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to engage in the bUEiness of doing or. performing plastering, outside stucco work or lathing on building or structures in the Village of Roseville without having first ob- tained a license so to do as hereinafter provided. SECTION 2 Any.person, firm or corporation desiring to engage in said business within the Village of Roseville, shall make application in writing to the Village Council by filing such application with the Village Clerk. The following information shall be set forth in the application: A. The name and place of residence of the applicant. B. The exact location of the premises at which the applicant propoBes to carryon said business. C. Whether the applicant has ever been engaged in said business and if so, where and when. D. If the applicant has been licensed in other municipalities, the place so licensed. E. If the applicant is a firm or corporation, the names and addresses of the officers thereof. SECTION 3 Thearplicant sh~ll deposit with the Village Clerk at the time of the filing of his application the sum of $35.00 which sum is hereby set as the 11.cense fee to engage in said business and the Village Clerk shall thereupon deliver to such applicant a duplicate receipt containing a statement of the purpose for which611ch.deppsit was made and one of said receipts shall be attached to and filed with soid application. SECTION 4 The Council shall direct such investigation of said application as it ~ may deem necessary to determine whether said applicant is qualified to engage in said business and shall thereafter consider the application and grant or deny the same.
