180 ORDINANCE NO. 184 An Ordinance Licensing and Regulating the Business of Doing or Perform- ming Cement work or Cement Block Work and Providing a Penalty for the Violation Thereof. The Village Council of hoseville ordains: SECTION 1 It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to engage in the business of doing or pe~formaing cement work or cement block work or cement hlock laying within the Village of Roseville without havine first obtained a license so to do as hereinafter provided. SECTION 2 Any~perSoh, firm or corporation desiring to engage in said business within the Village of Roseville shall make application in writing to the Village Council by filing such application with the Village Clerk. The following infor- mation shall be set forth in the applicationa A. The name and place of residence of t~ applicant. B. The exact location of the premises at which the applicant proposes to carryon said business. C. Whether the applicant has ever been engaged in said business and if so, where and when. D. If the applicant has been licensed in other municipalities, the place so licensed. E. If the applicant is a firm or corporation, the names and addresses of the officers thereof. SECTION 3 The applicant shall deposit with the Village Clerk at the time of the filing of his application the sum of $~ which sum is hereby set as the license fee to engage in said business and the Village Clerk shall thereupon deliver to such applicant a duplicate receipt thereof containing a statement of the purpose for which such deposit was made and one of said recipts shall be attached to and filed with said applicat.ion. SECTION 4 The Council shall direct such investigation of said application as it may deem necessary to determine whether said applicant is qualified to engage in said business and shall thereafter consider the application and grant or deny the same.
