223 4-11 4-12 4-13 4-14 4-15 h-16 4-17 h-18 4-19 HEATING A permit will be required to begin the installation, alteration or repair (except such minor repair not involving the removal of the burner from its a~plication) of any gas burner or gas burner equipment. Fee for such permit shall be $4.00 for eich installation involving a B.Y.U. gas in~ut of 400,000 B.T.U. or less, and a fee of $4.00 plus $1.00 for each 400,000 B.T.U. of gas input capacity for.installa- tions larger than 400,000 B.T.U. of gas input. For the installation of an oil burner or oil burner equipment for use in connection with a heating system the permit fee charged shall be made at the rate of $4.00 for each such installation up to three gallons per hour input capacity and 25~ for each additional gallon per hour. For any alterations, repairs or additions to an existing oil 'burner or oil burner equipment used in connection with a heating system, the permit fee charged shall be made at the rate of $1.00 for each $100,000 Ibrtractional part thereof of the total market cost of such alterations, repairs or additionli. For any construction, installation or alteration of any steam or hot vater system used in the conduction of' steam for heat or power purposes, the permit fee charged shall be made at the rate of 75; for each such permit issued plus an additional fee charge for the specific work as listed herein. For the installation or replacement of each steam or hot water boiler for a heating system which does not exceed 400 square feet, E.D.R. of the rated heating capacity of steam radiation or .his hot water equivalent, the pernut fee charge shall be made at the rate of $4.00. For each additional 500 square feet E.D.R. or fractional part thereof of equiv- alent steam radiation, the permit fee charge shall be at the rate of $1.00. For the installation of hot water radiators, the permit fee charge shall be made at the rate of 50; per radiator. Minimum fee of $1.00. For the installation, alteration, repair or replacement of gravity warm air heating systems, the permit fee charge shall be made at the rate of $4.00 for each such installation, alteration, repair or re- placement. For the installation of each domestic pDrtable incinerator, the permit fee charge shall be made at the rate of $2.00 tor each installation. For the excavation, grading or surfacing for any building structure, plot or area of ground, the permit fee charge shall be made at the rate of $1.00 for each ~ 1,000 square feet of area, or any fr.actional part thereof. The baCkfilling around a new b1i1ilding or structure shall be covered by the fee for the area of the excavation.
