<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 190 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING ALL MATTERS
<br />PERTAINING, RELATING OR INCIDENTAL TO AND THE CONSTRUCTION, BUILDING, ALTERATIOl~,
<br />REPAIR, INSTALLATION, PERFORMANCE, MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION ALL BUILDINGS, WALKS,
<br />STRUCTURES, DRIVE.WAYS, SIGNS AND BILL BOARDS, SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS, WELL DRILLING
<br />AND WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS, ELECTRIC WIRING, HEATING PLANTS, GAS AND GAS APPLIANCES,
<br />GAS BURNERS AND EQUIPMENT, INCINERATORS, PLUMBING, PLASTERING, EXCAVATING, LOT
<br />GRADING, CEMENT AND BRICK LATING, ROOFING, WRECKING AND MOVING OF BUILDINGS, ERECTED,
<br />CONSTRUCTED, BUILT, ALTERED, REPAIRED, INSTALLED OR PERFORMED, OR TO BE ERECTED,
<br />CONSTRUCTED, BUILT, ALTERED, REPAIRED, INSTALLED, PERFORMED AND MAINTAINED IN THE
<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE AND PROVIDING FOR LICENSES, PERMITS, BONDS AND FEES FOR THE
<br />PURPOSE OF PROTEOTION OF PROPERTY AGAINST FIRE AND FOR SECURING HEALTHFUL, SAFE
<br />AND SANITARY CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT FOR TH~ OCCUPANTS OF BUILDINGS USED FOR
<br />HUMAN HABITATION OR OTHERWISE, AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF,
<br />AND REPlALING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 100, 117, 142, 155, 163, AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, AND
<br />REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 129, 145, 171, 174, 182, 183, and 184."

<br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville does ordain:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That ordinance No. ;190 entitled "An ordinance regulating all matters
<br />pertaining, relating or incidental to and the construction, building, alteration,
<br />repair, installation, performance, maintenance and inspection of all buildings, walks,
<br />structures, driveways, signs and bill boards, sewage disposal systems, well drilling
<br />and water supply systems, electric wiring, heating plants, gas and gas appliances,
<br />gas burners and equipIOOnt, incinerators, plumbing, plastering, excavation, lot
<br />grading, cement and brick laying, roofing, wrecking and moving of buildings, ereeted,
<br />constructed, built, altered, repaired, installed or performed, or to be erected,
<br />constructed, built, altered, repaired, installed, performed and maintained in the
<br />Village of Roseville and providing for licenses, permits, bonds and fees for the
<br />purpose of protection of,property against fire and for securing healthful, safe
<br />and sanitary conditions and environment for the occupants of buildings aBed for
<br />human habitation or otherwise, and pDoyiding forpmalties for violations thereof,
<br />and repealing ordinance numbers 100, 117, 142, 155, 163, and amendments thereto,
<br />and repealing ordinance numbers 129, 145, 171, 182, 183, and 184, II be amendad as
<br />follows:

<br />SECTION 2. Amend Section 4, 4-8 to read as follows:
<br />
<br />4-8 ELECTRIC WIRING PERl'1IT FEES
<br />$2.00 minimum for water heaters, ranges, pumps, milking machines or any
<br />major appliance or additional circuits.
<br />
<br />SECTION 3. Amend Section 6, 6-76 to read as follows:
<br />6-76 A-minimum height of eight (8) feet shall be required for the first floor.
<br />A clear height of at least seven (7) feet six (6) inches over a minimum
<br />of forty (40) per cent of the floor area shall be required for the
<br />ceiling on all floors other than the first floor.
<br />
<br />SECTION 4. Amend Section 3, 3-25 by adding as follows:
<br />3-25 A permit shall be required for the excavation, grading or surfacing for
<br />any building structire, plot or area of ground occupied by a building or
<br />in preparation for the construction of a building. Applications for
<br />petmrl. ts shall be filed with the Clerk of the municipality.
