<br />29(j <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 199 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION SIX, ORDINANCE 190, KNOvJN AND <br />DESIGNATED AS BUILDING CODE. <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville do ordain as follows: <br /> <br />That Section Six, Ordinance No. 190 known and designated as <br /> <br />"j <br /> <br />"BUILDING CODE" be amended as follows: At the end of 6-95 add <br /> <br />. <br />"6-95 (a) Service entrance equipment for all new one family <br /> <br />residential buildings having a gross area of 1000 square feet or <br /> <br />less shall consist of the following: <br /> <br />Entrance conduit shall be a minimum of I" rigid or thin wall <br />conduit. <br />Service entrance conductors shall be a minimum of 2# 4 American <br />wire gauge insulated conductors and one #6 AW bare neutral conductor. <br /> <br />Service entrance equipment shall consist of a service entrance <br />panel having a 60 ampere capacity, with provisions for a 60 ampere <br />fused main line "utout, a 60 ampere range circuit breaker types are <br />used the range circuit may be a 50 ampere capacity. When fuses <br />are used no fuse shall be permitted to be installed whose in- <br />terrupting current exceeds that permitted as the allowable current <br />carrying capacity of the conductor. <br /> <br />Service entrance equipment for all new one family dwellings having <br />a gross area greater than 1000 square feet shall consist of the follOi- <br />ing: <br />Entrance conduit shall be a minimum of 1%" rigid or thin wall <br />conduit. <br /> <br />Service entrance donductors shall be a m~nlll1um of two "2 A.W.G. <br />type BH insulated conductors and one #4 bare neutral conductor. <br /> <br />Service entrance equipment shall consist of a service entrance <br />panel having a 100 ampere capacity with provisions for a 220 volt <br />rangecircuit, at least one additional 220 volt, 30 ampere circuit <br />and a 220 volt - 60 ampere fused coutout or 50 ampere circuit <br />breaker which supply at least 8 single pole circuits." <br /> <br />.I. <br />"6-95 (b) - he provisions of 6-05 (a) shall apply to old residences <br />except where' a conce~ed conduit exists and is in the opinion of the <br />authority enforcing this code in suitable condition for re-use, table <br />"11 NEC may be used." <br />
