<br />3i.f <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 235 <br /> <br />Adopted August 20, 1957 <br /> <br />An ordinance providing therefor and authorizing the establishment <br />of a fraffic Violations Bureau by and for the operation thereof under and <br />in accordance with Rules of the Municipal Gburt of the Village of Roseville, <br />to be prescribed and promulgated in the premises and providing for and <br />authorizing coordinate action therein by the clerk of said Municipal Court <br />-_ and Police Department of the Village of Roseville, 8.nd the furnishing of the <br />ronuisitA clerical personnel therefor by the Village Council. This is an <br />emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public <br />peace, health, and safety. <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville does ordain; <br /> <br />Section 1 - That provision is hereqy made and authority is hereby <br />~iven for the establishment of a Traffic Violations Bureau and for the <br />conduct and operation thereof by and in accordance with rules therefor <br />consistent with law to be prescribed and promulgated by the Municipal <br />Court of the Village of Roseville and in accordance with the provisions <br />hereof hereinabove and hereinafter contained. <br /> <br />Section 2 - That such Rules of said Municipal Court shall be pre- <br />scribed and promulgated within the period of thirty (0) days next after <br />the effective date of this ordinance and such Rules and every amendment <br />thereto shall be published at least once within thirty (0) days next after <br />the prescription and promulgation of the same by said Municipal Court, in <br />the public legal newspaper designated by the Council of the Village of <br />Roseville, for the publication of legal advertisements, ordinances, reso- <br />lutions or ordinances of the Council of said Village to be published in a <br />public or legal newspaper. <br /> <br />" Section 3- That said Traffic Violations Bureau, as the same shall be <br />established, conducted, and operated hereunder, shall represent the co- <br />ordinate actions of the Clerk of said Municipal Court and the Village Police <br />Department, and the furnishing and employing therein the requisite clerical <br />personnel by the Village Council; that as aforesaid, said Traffic Violations <br />Bureau shall be established, condueted and ']t)~!'ated by and in accordance with <br />such' Rules of said Municipal Court as the same may be from time to time <br />~ended; and ~hat said Traffic Violations Bureau shall occupy and operate <br />in offices to be set apart therefor by the Village Council in the City Hall <br />Building in the Village of Roseville, County of R'~sey, State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Section 4 - That said Traffic Violations Bureau shall, after its <br />establishment thereby, be conducted and operated under and in accordance with <br />such Rules of said Municipal Court germane thereto, for~he purpose of facili- <br />tating the administration of the work of said Municipal Court and Clerk <br />thereof, in respect to cases within the juriSdiction of said Court wherein <br />violations of laws of the State of Minnesota and of ordinances of the Village <br />of Roseville in respect to the regulation and control of vehicular and <br />pedestrian travel on the public streets, highways, and thoroughfares shall <br />be charged or involved. <br /> <br />Section 5 - That such Rules of said Muni~ipal Court, as the same <br />
