<br />"'? ,.c,---" <br />ORD INA:I\ICE NO. c-j ~ ) ( <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AM.E~IDING OF:DINA.l\JCE NO. 149, AS A}~ENDED, ENTITLED <br />"AN O$INANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PR()}lOTING n-m FUBLIC HE:ALTH, <br />SAFETY, QF:DER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY AND GENERAL w"ELFAP8 py <br />PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND THADES AND <br />INDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUHAN HABITATION AND FOR <br />SFECIFllIJ FURPOSES, REGULATING ANI; DETERMINING THE MINIM1J1.'1 SIZE <br />OF YARD AREAS, ESTABLISHING THE BREAKDOWNS OF DISTRICTS FOR <br />SAID PURPOSES, AND PROVIDnm PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION TBEHEOF.ll <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon request of the property owners, the Village Council of <br />Roseville, upon its own motion, cirected procedure under said erdinance to' <br />rezone from Residence District "A" to'I'Business Districil', the following propeirty: <br /> <br />The North 183 feet of the East 229.27 feet ef the <br />SEt of the SEi ef Section 15, Township 29, Range <br />23, subject to' easement fer Garden Avenue and <br />LeY.ingten Avenue, all in Ramsey County, Minneseta. <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />vJHEREAS, the Village Council of Roseville has called and held a hE'aring <br />upon said motien to' rezone, the Village Council of RO'seville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION I. <br /> <br />That Ordinance NO'. 149, as amended, entitled, "An Ordinance i)r the <br />Purpese of Promoting the Public Health, Safety, Order, COIT'JIerce, Property and <br />General Welfare by Providing for the Classifica.tion, Regulation and Restriction <br />of the Erection of Trades and Industries and of Buildings used for Human Habi- <br />tation and fer Specified Purposes, Regulating and Determining the ~inimum Size <br />ef yard areas, Establishing the Breakdown of Districts for Said Purposes, and <br />Providing Penalties for Violation Thereef," be further amended by rezoning said <br />property described to'~usiness District;' ana further amending zoning map <br />so that said property above described is classified ana zoned as ''Business District!! <br />under the restrictions of the following Sectiens II and III hereof. <br /> <br />SECTION II. <br /> <br />That said zoning ordinance and zening me.p be further amended So' that <br />said property for Business District uses shall be limited so that the North <br />133 feet of :Jaid preperty subject to easement for Garden Avenue and Lexingten <br />Avenue shall be used only for parking and landscaping. <br /> <br />SECTION III. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its <br />passage upon the filing with the Clerk 'Wi thin thirty days after the publication <br />O'f said ordinance owners written acceptance of the provisions hereof. <br />
