<br />I), , <br />'\' ~/\# <br />'.# \ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. c::?, c;:/ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 149, AS AMENDED, <br />ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING <br />THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY <br />AND GENERAL WELFARE BY PROVIDING FOR CLA.SSIFICATION, <br />REGULATION AND RESTRICTION OF THE ERECTION OF TRADES <br />AND INDUSTRIES AND OF BUILDINGS USED FOR HUMAN HABITATION <br />AND FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES REGULATING AND DETERMINING THE <br />MINIMUM SIZE OF YARD AREA ESTABLISHING THE BREAKDOWN OF <br />DISTRICTS FOR SAID PURPOSES AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTY <br />FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition has been duly filed to rezone the following property <br /> <br />from "Farm Residence District" to "Business District" to wit: <br /> <br />North 150 ft. of the East 300 ft. of the North 8 <br />acres of the NEt of the sEt of the sWj of Section 10, <br />Tow 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Planning Commission has recommended that said petition <br />to rezone be granted, and, <br /> <br />'WHEREAS, the Village Council of Roseville has duly called and held a hearing <br />upon ::aaid petitio. to rezone said premises describecl from "Farm Residence" to <br />WBusiness District", <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION I. <br /> <br />That Ordinance No. 149, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance for the purpose <br />of promoting the public health, safety, order, commerce, property and general <br />welfare by providing for classification, regulation and restriction of the <br />erection .r trades and industries and of buildings used for human habitation <br />and for specific purposes regulating aDd determining the minimum size of yard <br />area establishing the breakdown of distriots for said purposes and providing for <br />penalty for violations thereof," be further amended by rezoning said property <br />described to "Business District", and further amending the zoning map so that <br />said property above described is classified and zoned as "Business District" under <br />the restriction of the following Sections II and III hereof. <br /> <br />SECTION IT. <br /> <br />That said zoning ordinance and map be further amended so that said property <br />for "Business District" be limited in its uses so as to limit the business uses to <br />only a retail business of garden supplies and equipment. <br />
