<br />- -/"'" / "? <br />ORD INANCE NO.....:;;:;;w,c ~ J <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE CLOSING <br />HOURS OF PLACES SELLING FOOD AND <br />NON-INTOXICATING MALT BEVERAGES <br /> <br />'l <br /> <br />The Village of Roseville does ordain: <br /> <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Closing Hours. All places in the Village of Roseville where food <br />ud non-intoxicating malt beverages are served, shall be closed for business <br />between the hours of one o'clock A.M. and five o'clock A.M. <br /> <br />During the closing hours set by this ordinance no business of any <br />kind or character except as herein otherwise provided, shall be transacted, <br />and no person other than employees shall be permitted to enter or remain upon <br />the premises. <br /> <br />Application of Ordinance. It is the intent of this ordinance to <br />apply to those places only in which are sold both food and non-intoxicating <br />malt beverages, and i t ~hall not apply to places in which food alone is served. <br />In the event the sale of food and non-intoxicating malt beverages is now or <br />hereafter authorized in any place of business the proprietor may provide a <br />room or roams in which non-intoxicating malt beverages are served at any time, <br />and such room or rooms may remain open for the service of food at all hours. <br />Such room shall, however, be distinctly separated from that patt of the building <br />in which the non-intoxicating malt beverages are served, which part shall be <br />entirely closed during the hours provided for in the first paragraph of this <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Flaces with Sleeping Accommodations. If any place of business is <br />authorized to sell food and non-intoxicating malt beverages and also to <br />provide sleeping accommodations for the public, such place of business may <br />remain open at all hours for the purpose of providing such sleeping accommoda- <br />tions only but in all bther respects 8uchplaces shall be subject to the <br />provisions of' this ordinance. <br /> <br />Revocation ot Licenses. Upon conviction for a violation of this <br />ordinance, in aadition to any other pens1ties which ma,y be imposed, all <br />licenses of every kind or nature issued by the Village of Roseville to the <br />person so convicted and uc.der which the person so convicted conducts the business <br />of selling food or non-intoxicating malt beverages, shall be revoked by the <br />Village Council. <br /> <br />Section II. <br /> <br />Violation. Any violation of this ordinance shall be deemed a <br />misdemeanor punishable according to law. <br />
