<br />OlIDINANCE NO. c:? 7 c <br /> <br />AN ORIHNANCE REGULATInG <br />tlliA TTENDED MOTOR VEHICLES <br /> <br />The Village Council of RoseviUe does orda.in: <br /> <br />Section I. <br /> <br />Locking required. No person shall leave a motor vehicle, except <br />a commercial motor vehicle, unattended on any street, alley, used car lot, <br />or unattended parking lot, without first stopping the engine, locking the <br />ignition, removing the key and taking it with him; provided, however, that <br />any violation of these provisions shall not mitigate the offense of stealing <br />such motor vehicle, nor shall violation be used to affect a recovery in any <br />civil action for theft of such motor vebicle, or the insurance thereon, er <br />have any other hearing in any civil action. <br /> <br />Whenever any police officer of said Village of Roseville shall <br />find any such rotor vehicle standing in violation of the foregoing provisions, <br />such police officer is authorized and directed to remove therefrom the keys <br />left therein and to deliver the same to the officer in charge of the Police <br />Department at the village hall. <br /> <br />Section II. <br /> <br />:Manner of parking. Any vehicle perked at any time in any part <br />of the ViIage shall be parked with the right hand side parallel to the <br />curb, and not more than one foot from the curb, leaving at :Is ast four <br />feet between parked vehicles, except where marks or signs on the streets <br />indicate that cars shall be parked at an angle. <br /> <br />Section III. <br /> <br />Loubl'3 parking. Vehicles shall not stand two er more abreast in <br />any street except in the Case of commercial vehicles, when calling for or <br />delivering parcels cr merchandise the same may dcuble park for the length <br />of time absolutely and reasonably necessary to load or unload, when access <br />to the curb is blocked by other vehicles at the place of delivery. <br /> <br />Section IV. <br /> <br />Time limitations. No vehicles shall be parked on any street for <br />mere than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. <br /> <br />No truck with a capacity of over two tons shall be parked on any <br />street for more than 90 minutes, or for the time necessary to load or <br />unload such truck. <br />
