EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 27th day of January, 1992 at 7:30 P.M. The following members· were present: P. Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. Member P. Johnson moved that the following resolution be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 8746 PARK AND RECREATION ACCESSIBLE, SAFE PLAY AREAS CALIBRE RIDGE PROJECT WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council actively supports and forwards to the Ramsey County Board two very worthwhile projects in the following rank order: 1. Park and Recreation Accesible, Safe Play Areas, 2. Calibre Ridge project, Twin cities Housing Development; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council strongly supports the Park and Recreation Accessible, Safe Play Areas application as a top priority to permit handicapped children access to its play areas, the largest facilities of this type in suburban Ramsey County; and WHEREAS, the Roseville city Council strongly supports the Calibre Ridge project, as it increases moderate income family housing which is desperately lacking in the entire Ramsey County Suburban area; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville supports the handicapped safe, accessible play areas application as its primary block grant priority, and subsequently forwards it to the Ramsey Board requesting Community Development Block Grant funds; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville supports the Calibre Ridge proj ect and recommends that funded by the Ramsey County Board. hereby it be
