<br />ORDINANCE No. 293 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AME:NTIING ORDINANCE NO. 275, AS AMENDED, ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE <br />FUR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, ORDER, COMMERCE, PROPERTY, <br />AND GENERAL WELFARE BY PROVIDING FOR THE CLASSIFICATION, REGULATION AND <br />RESTRICTION OF THE ERECTION OF TRADES AND nmm:,TRIES MrD OF BUILDINGS USED <br />FOR Hill1A.N HABITATION AND FUR SPECIFIED PURPOSES, REGULATING MID DETERr1INING <br />THE MITI]\1UM SIZE OF YARD ARSAS, ESTABLISHING THE BR.EAK-DO'd"N OF DI,STRICTS FOR <br />SAID PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION TIffiPEOF, PROVIDING FOR <br />AT-ID ADOPTING AI; OFFICIAL VILlAGE OF ROSEVILl.E ZONING MAP". <br /> <br />~'llJEREAS, pursuant to Section 11 of Ordinance No. 275, the property owners <br />filed an application with the Village Clerk in tl~ form of a written request <br />to rezone from R-l to B-1 the following described property, to-wit: <br /> <br />Subject to State Trunk Highway 8-63 and Coijinty Road "D ", Beginning <br />on the North line of Section 5, Township 29, Range 23 at a point <br />330 feet West of the N i Section corner, said point being the <br />intersection of the center line of Highway No.8, and the North <br />line of said Section, thence South 270 30' 1>Jest on said center <br />line a distance of 642.84 feet, thence Northwesterly at right <br />angles to said center line a distance of 646.14 feet, thence <br />Northeasterly parallel with said center line to the North line <br />of said section, thence E. along the North line of said Section <br />to the point of beginnjng, <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />\~nEREAS, The Village Council by motion referred the same to the <br />Planning Commission, and, <br /> <br />'.JHEREAS, The Planning Commission, pursuant to due notice and public hearing, <br />made its recommendation to the Villap.:e Council that said property be <br />rezoned from R-l to B-1, and, <br /> <br />~;EREAS, the Village Council, pursuant to due notice held a public <br />hearing on said matter on the lOth day of 11ay, 1960, at the Village Hall <br />at its regular Council ~eeting, and, <br /> <br />HEREAS, pursuant to said hearing the Village Council adopted a motion <br />by a vote of 5 to 0 that the said matter be continued for one week and <br />tha~ the attorney be instructed to prepare an amendment to the zoning <br />ordlnance, the said property in accordance with the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission be rezoned from R-l to B-1, <br /> <br />The Village Council of Roseville ordains: <br />
