EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 27th day of January, 1992, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: P. Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Member Thomas introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8750 ST. PAUL WINTER CARNIVAL QUEEN OF SNOWS WHEREAS, Ms. Christina Proft was selected last July as the first Rose- fest Queen; and WHEREAS, Ms. Proft has distinguished herself and the City of Roseville by attending numerous community events over the past several months; and WHEREAS, the st. Paul winter Carnival has recognized her as an out- standing and talented representative by selecting Christina Proft as the 1992 Queen of Snows; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, on behalf of the City of Rose- ville, the City Council congratulates and expresses appreciation to Ms. Christina Proft, Miss Rosefest 1991, on her selection as the 1992 winter Carnival Queen of Snows. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Thomas, Cushman, Maschka, and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
