<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO, _0.,-s.~- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 166 OF THE VILLAGE <br /> <br />CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE. ' <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />Chapter 166 of the Village Code of the Village of Roseville is <br /> <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />166. BURNING CONTROL. <br /> <br />166.010. Burnfug of Open Fires. No person.. firm or corpora- <br /> <br />Hon shall set or maintain any open fire" or shall knowingly furnish the <br /> <br />materials for any such fire" or authorize any such fire to be set" kindled or <br /> <br />maintained within the limits of the Village of Roseville except under one of the <br /> <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1) Trash or rubbish fires may be maintained in burning <br /> <br />receptacles which are designed to prevent burning particles from escaping" <br /> <br />and which are 15 feet or more from any building. <br /> <br />2) Grassland or brush fires may be maintained if a permit is <br /> <br />obtained from the Roseville Fire Chief" under the provisions of this Chapter. <br /> <br />166.020. Permits. Application for a permit may be made <br /> <br />orally or in writing and must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the proposed <br /> <br />fire" and the Fire Chief shall grant the permit if he determines that such fire <br /> <br />will not create any danger to any person or property" and such fire shall be held <br /> <br />only when the Roseville Fire Department is available for any emergency. <br />
