<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO.~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE BY ADDING CHAPTER 66 ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM <br /> <br />AND SETTING FORTH RULES AND REGULATIONS PERTAINING THERETO. <br /> <br />The Village Council of the Village of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The Village Code of the Village of Roseville is hereby <br /> <br />amended by adding thereto Chapter 66 to read as follows: <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />66. MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM <br /> <br />66.010. General Operation. The Village of Roseville <br /> <br />municipal water system (hereinafter called the water system)- shall <br /> <br />be operated as a public utility and convenience from which revenue <br /> <br />will be derived, subject to the provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br />66.020. Use of Water Restricted to Authorized Persons. No <br /> <br />person, firm, or corporation shall make, construct, or install any <br /> <br />water service installation or make use of any water service which is <br /> <br />connected to the water system except in the manner provided in this <br /> <br />chapter. <br /> <br />66.030. Wilful Damaqe to Water System. No person shall <br /> <br />remove or damage any structure, appurtenance, or property of the water <br /> <br />system, or fill or partially fill any excavation, or raise or open any <br /> <br />gate constructed or maintained for the water system. <br /> <br />66.040. Discontinuance of Service for Violations. Water <br /> <br />service may be shut off at any stop box connection whenever:- <br />
